The Seca 899 personal scale is suitable for weighing people in the simplest, quickest and most reliable way possible. This electronic personal scale is compact and has a flat shape, so it is very easy to store or move.
The Seca scales are equipped with a screen displaying the weighing result.
During weighing, the weight appears on the LCD screen. The screen has a 2-metre cable, so the result can be read at eye level and the patient does not have to bend down.
The Seca 899 scale’s cable remote display can be wall-mounted or placed on a table. Thus, the seca 899 fits perfectly at your workstation. You easily switch on the TARE, HOLD and BMI functions using the buttons next to the display.
With the BMI function, the Seca 899 scale can calculate the patient’s body mass index (BMI index). This index is used to evaluate the patient’s nutritional status according to the WHO set standard.
The flat scale also features the Tare function. This function allows weighing a child in the arms of an adult.
